  • Identify modernization opportunities and ensure the Phase‑In establishes a foundation for Zero Trust, cloud migration, and long‑term enterprise improvements.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience in enterprise IT operations, program management, or technical leadership.

  • Experience overseeing large-scale federal or enterprise IT transitions across multiple technical domains.

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance obligations (NIST SP 800‑53, RMF, Zero Trust, TIC 3.0).

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional engineering and operations teams in multi‑vendor environments.

  • Experience with modernization efforts across identity services, PKI, vulnerability management, database operations, web/middleware hosting, virtualization, and workflow automation.

  • Experience supporting VA or other federal agencies

  • Experience leading RMF, ATO, cyber compliance, or large systems integration programs

  • Technical depth in cloud platforms, PKI, ICAM, virtualization, middleware, databases, or enterprise monitoring
