Description
Our client located in South San Francisco is seeking a Financial Systems & Budget Analyst to support post-go-live operations following a recent implementation. You will play a key part in maintaining day-to-day financial system operations, generating budget and financial reports, and supporting ad hoc analysis for Finance leadership.
This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys working at the intersection of financial operations, reporting, budgeting, and ERP systems. This contract role may be up to 6 months in duration.
Key Responsibilities

Support daily post-implementation operations within the financial system

Generate and maintain budget, financial, and management reports
-
Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and special projects
-
Reconcile financial data and validate accuracy of system-generated reports
-
Collaborate with Finance team members to identify and resolve system or reporting issues

Assist with budget tracking, forecasting, and variance analysis

Support process improvement initiatives related to financial reporting and system utilization

Document procedures and provide user support as needed
Requirements
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field preferred
-
3+ years of experience in finance, accounting, budgeting, financial analysis, or related functions

Strong proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and financial reporting
-
Experience preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
-
Ability to analyze large datasets and communicate findings effectively
-
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
