Global Resource Solutions, Inc. (GRS) is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, detail orientated, and talented individual for the position of Special Security Representative.

Job Description:

The Special Security Representative (SSR) is primarily responsible to validate and certify cleared and uncleared personnel throughout government facilities to include all Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs). SSRs are required to always hold a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance. All work is performed indoors within the facility.

Essential Duties Responsibilities:

  • Verify visitor authorization before granting entry and keep the visitor log complete and reviewed.

  • Serve as first point of contact for escort questions.

  • Report any actual or potential security incident to the task lead and SSO immediately; support fact-finding as directed.

  • Perform monthly walkthroughs and periodic inspections; document findings that cannot be corrected in the space.

  • Support semi-annual IDS and response-force testing and file the results.

  • Maintain access logs, the access roster, and local SCIF lifecycle files

Requirement:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience.

  • HS Diploma or equivalent

  • Providing expert direction and guidance.

Security Requirements:

Active Top-Secret Clearance/SCI Eligibility

Skills:

  • Must have experience and knowledge with ICD-705, and Fixed Facility Checklist (FFC)

  • Experience with DISS, VARs, IDS

  • U.S. Citizenship

  • Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license.

  • Must speak, read, write, and understand the English language, apply written rules, detailed orders, instructions and training material.

Physical Requirements: This position requires employees to be willing and able to: sit, bend, reach, stoop, squat, stand, and walk.

Communication: Excellent customer service via phone and face to face conversation, excellent written and oral command of English.
