DESCRIPTION:

  • Partner closely with R&D and Bioinformatics to evaluate technical feasibility, establish product requirements, and bring differentiated NGS solutions to market.

  • Drive portfolio prioritization and investment recommendations by balancing customer value, market opportunity, technical feasibility, business impact, and organizational capacity.

  • Partner across business units to develop integrated NGS workflow solutions spanning sample preparation, assays and content, sequencing, software, and data analysis.

  • Build relationships with key customers and scientific stakeholders to understand evolving NGS workflows, unmet needs, and emerging applications and incorporate these insights into portfolio strategy.

  • Partner with Commercial and Business Development teams to identify and develop strategic growth opportunities, key customer collaborations, and partnerships.

  • Partner with Commercial and Marketing to develop go-to-market strategies, product positioning, pricing recommendations, and customer adoption plans.

  • Support portfolio planning, business case development, revenue forecasting, demand planning, and investment prioritization.

  • Monitor portfolio performance, including revenue, growth, profitability, customer adoption, and other key business metrics, and develop actions to improve business performance.

  • Serve as the Product Management subject matter expert for the NGS portfolio, providing strategic guidance to Commercial and cross-functional stakeholders on product capabilities, customer requirements, market dynamics, and portfolio priorities.

  • Communicate product strategy, roadmap, portfolio performance, investment recommendations, and key risks to Product Management and business leadership.

  • Drive continuous improvement across the portfolio and establish scalable approaches to product and content lifecycle management.

Experience

  • Minimum of 8 years of related industry experience, with demonstrated experience in product management, strategic marketing, or related roles within genomics, molecular diagnostics, biotechnology, or life sciences.

  • Proven success managing NGS, genomics, or molecular diagnostics products or portfolios through the full product lifecycle.
