Summary
Apple is a place where extraordinary people gather to do their best work. Together we craft products and experiences people once couldn't have imagined, and now can't imagine living without. If you're excited by the idea of making a real impact, and joining a team where we pride ourselves in being one of the most diverse and inclusive companies in the world, a career with Apple might be your dream job. The Apple Pay and Wallet team is looking for an experienced product professional to shape the Access platform in Apple Wallet.
The Access platform lets customers use iPhone and Apple Watch to move seamlessly through their daily lives—unlocking their home or car, badging into the office or across campus, checking into a hotel, or walking into a theme park or live event. You will build best-in-class customer experiences while growing the platform that global partners and developers build on. You bring a platform mindset, sharp commercial judgment, and a deep focus on the end-to-end user journey. You have significant experience in consumer product management or product strategy and a track record of product launches at scale, ideally within a two-sided platform business. You are able to lead through ambiguity, present to senior leadership both inside and outside Apple, and drive consensus across broad cross-functional teams.
Description
We are looking for a consumer technology platform builder with a proven background where strategic partnerships meet product development. In this role, you will own product management for a portfolio of Access verticals, matched to your experience and the team's priorities. You will turn strategy into action—defining detailed product and platform requirements, driving end-to-end execution from concept to launch, and shaping the commercial and ecosystem strategy to bring new products to market.
You will partner directly with the Wallet, Payments, and Commerce business teams, Engineering, Design, and Marketing, and engage with teams across Apple to create seamless connected experiences. The selected candidate will champion Apple's commitments to privacy, security, and the customer. They will challenge assumptions and design solutions first and foremost with Apple's customers in mind, despite the complexity that is often behind the scenes. Travel will be required.
Minimum Qualifications
-
5+ years of experience in a hands-on product management role, or equivalent experience in product strategy or a related field, ideally at a platform, marketplace, or consumer-facing technology company
-
Ability to define and deliver best-in-class, end-to-end customer experiences that span multiple products, partners, and organizations
-
Successful track record of leading through influence within cross-functional teams, and across multiple partners and geographies, to deliver strong outcomes
-
Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) at all levels of an organization, including executive audiences
-
Experience evangelizing a platform to external partners and developer teams, aligning senior stakeholders, and balancing partner requirements with company principles
-
Demonstrated ownership of commercial and ecosystem strategy, including business models, pricing, partner value propositions, and go-to-market
-
Familiarity with the physical access control industry, technology, and partner ecosystem
-
B.A./B.S. or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
-
Familiarity with wireless technologies such as NFC and UWB, or with mobile credentials
-
Proficiency with Apple products and applications
-
M.S. or MBA
