Senior Data Engineer

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Senior Data Engineer for a top financial services client in the Des Moines area. This person will be helping mentor a team of other engineers and will be heavily involved hands-on pulling data, building pipelines and refining the current Snowflake platform. The expectation is that this person will be confident operating as a full stack data engineer from day 1 of the job. There are various projects they will be jumping into but will be spending 20-30% of their time in analysis, 50-60% in engineering and 20% in QA. The annual salary for this role is between $125,000-140,000/yr.

Skills and Requirements

• 8+ Data engineering experience
• 2+ yrs of Snowflake & DBT experience - need to hit the ground running
• SQL Server
• Informatica PowerCenter (could be a strong plus)
• Azure Data Lake & Data Factory

QA Automation in DBT or manual testing Financial services background, open outside of the industry
