Access Management & Locksystems Specialist

The Access Management Specialist supports the day-to-day administration, coordination and technical support activities associated with electronic and mechanical lock systems, secure key management, ATM access, customer onboarding and lock-related projects.

Working under the direction of the Locksystems Administrator, this position assists Cencon, S&G, and other manufacturers in lock system-related operations, initialization kit preparation, technical key management, lock and equipment records, shipping and receiving, service request and work order coordination, customer projects and technical support.

Key Responsibilities

Lock System Administration Support

  • Support day to day administration of Cencon, S&G, keypads and lock system environments.

  • Assist with maintenance of locks, keypads, customer configuration, and technician documents across supported databases and systems.

  • Maintain accurate lock and equipment records.

  • Monitor and support the Lock Systems shared mailbox

  • Escalate unusual, high-risk, or security-sensitive issues to the Lock System Administrator.

Cencon INIT / Shelf Kit Operations

  • Prepare Cencon INIT and Shelf Kits

  • Package and ship kits to field technicians

  • Receive and process returned keys and equipment

  • Track outbound and inbound shipments

  • Maintain inventory of kits, keys, and required supplies.

  • Create required service requests and work orders associated with INIT/Shelf activity.

  • Coordinate with FSC and PMO teams regarding technician assignments.

  • Escalate lost, missing, damaged, or unreturned items according to established security procedures.

Secure Key Management

  • Assist with creation, activation, deactivation, replacement and tracking of approved technician equipment keys.

  • Support the organizations Key Management System.

  • Assist with periodic key audits and reconciliation.

Equipment and Customer Onboarding

  • Support onboarding of new customers and new ATM/Lock equipment

  • Maintain customer and site records.

  • Receive and validate equipment lists from customers

Documentation and Knowledge Transfer

  • Document standard Lock Systems processes

  • Create step-by-step operational procedures

  • Identify undocumented repeated activities and capture common troubleshooting.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in technical support, security operations, banking/ATM service, field service coordination, logistics, or a related technical environment.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous requests and projects.

  • Experience working with databases, ticking systems, and structured business applications.

  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and collaboration tools.

  • Ability to learn technical lock systems, applications, and security processes.

  • Ability to safely package, receive, organize and ship equipment

  • Ability to work onsite in Springfield, Missouri area as required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to walk, sit, and stand for extended periods of time

  • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

  • Regularly use hands to feel, reach, and use a keyboard
