Job description

The Talent Acquisition Specialist supports the U.S. Talent Acquisition Hub in delivering a consistent, responsive, and high-quality recruiting experience for candidates and hiring teams across Safran. This early-career role works closely with Talent Acquisition Business Partners, hiring managers, HR colleagues, and candidates to coordinate recruiting activities, maintain accurate data, and help move requisitions efficiently through the hiring process.

The ideal candidate is organized, service-oriented, and eager to build a career in talent acquisition. Success in this role requires strong follow-through, attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-based environment.

Job Requirements/Key Responsibilities

Support Talent Acquisition Partners with day-to-day recruiting activities for assigned U.S. business units and functions.

Coordinate candidate interviews, including scheduling, confirmations, logistics, virtual meeting details, and timely communication with all participants.

Create and maintain requisitions and candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS), ensuring information is complete, accurate, and current.

Post job openings to approved internal and external channels and verify that postings are accurate and aligned with established templates and requirements.

Review applications and conduct initial candidate outreach or basic pre-screening for selected roles, under the guidance of a Talent Acquisition Business Partner.

Provide candidates with clear, professional, and timely updates throughout the recruiting process, helping deliver a positive candidate experience.

Prepare offer documentation and support pre-employment activities in partnership with Talent Acquisition, HR, and other internal teams.

Monitor recruiting workflows, identify missing information or delays, and follow up with the appropriate stakeholders to keep processes moving.

Assist with sourcing activities, talent pipelines, hiring events, career fairs, and other recruiting initiatives as needed.

Support recruiting reports and dashboards by maintaining data quality and compiling routine metrics for the U.S. Talent Acquisition Hub.

Follow Safran policies, standardized processes, data privacy requirements, and applicable federal, state, and local employment practices.

Contribute to continuous improvement by documenting procedures, sharing feedback, and supporting projects that improve efficiency and service quality.

Perform additional talent acquisition and administrative duties as assigned.

Candidate skills & requirements

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

1-3 years of experience in recruiting, human resources, customer service, coordination, administration, or a related professional environment.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple open items with consistent follow-through.

Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong customer-service mindset.

High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate, confidential, and well-organized records.

Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.

Ability to learn and use applicant tracking systems, HR platforms, and other recruiting technologies.

Ability to work collaboratively in a hub or shared-services environment and build effective relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and HR partners.

Professional judgment and discretion when handling sensitive candidate and employee information.

Basic understanding of talent acquisition practices and equal employment opportunity principles.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with an ATS, interview scheduling, candidate communications, recruiting coordination, or a shared-services environment. Exposure to aerospace, manufacturing, engineering, or other technical recruiting is a plus.
