Full job description
Required Education/Experience
- High School Diploma/GED and Possess automotive knowledge, including the ability to identify major vehicle systems, related parts, and their functions. Take and pass the Material Analyst test at The Learning Center.
Preferred Education/Experience
-
Prior knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management is preferred Proficient in the use of various software systems and computer applications. The selected candidate must be able to learn additional software systems and vehicle management systems.

Qualified forklift operator
Relevant Work Experience
-
Prior experience in the automotive industry, including vehicle repair and/or the purchasing of materials in a service fleet environment is required.

Possess excellent oral and written communication skills, strong organizational and clerical abilities, and proficient competence in computer usage, including but not limited to Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and other Office suite programs.

Be able to obtain position-specific FDNY Certificates of Fitness within six months of the start date.

Experience acting as a company liaison with internal and external customers, including supply and service vendors.
