What you'll do:
As a Delivery Helper at QXO, you’ll work alongside our Drivers to safely deliver and unload building materials at customer homes and jobsites. You’ll help verify orders, handle and position materials, and support safe, accurate, and efficient deliveries while providing great service to our customers.

Assist Drivers with the safe and efficient delivery of building products and materials to customer homes, businesses, and construction jobsites

Safely load, unload, carry, and position building materials using proper material-handling techniques and equipment

Assist with rooftop, ground-drop, and other jobsite delivery methods based on the product, equipment, and site conditions

Support the unloading of materials from delivery trucks, conveyor booms, forklifts, or other approved delivery equipment when applicable

Verify order contents and quantities before loading and delivery to help ensure order accuracy

Assist Drivers with preparing and securing loads for safe transportation

Help assess jobsite conditions and identify potential hazards before unloading materials
-
Assist Drivers with navigating tight or challenging delivery locations when needed
-
Handle products carefully to help prevent material damage during loading, transportation, and unloading

Maintain communication with Drivers and Dispatch to support timely and efficient deliveries

Provide professional and courteous service when interacting with customers and jobsite personnel
-
Maintain a daily commitment to safety and follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements

Assist with general warehouse, yard, loading, or delivery operations as needed
Shift and Schedule

Full-Time Position

Monday–Friday.

Start time 5:30am until work is done, around 5pm

Flexibility in schedule to accommodate OT and/or weekends based on business needs.
What you'll bring:

Strong commitment to learning and following all safety procedures
-
Ability and willingness to perform physically demanding work throughout the workday

Ability to safely lift, carry, push, pull, and position building materials of varying sizes and weights
-
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather and jobsite conditions

Strong attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy
-
Dependable attendance and ability to work effectively as part of a delivery team
-
Good communication and customer service skills
-
Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing delivery and jobsite conditions
-
Reliable transportation to and from the assigned branch location
-
Previous building materials, construction, warehouse, delivery, or general labor experience is a plus
-
Spanish bilingual proficiency is a plus
-
Access one- and two-story rooftops to stage materials at delivery locations.

Must be comfortable working at heights; required safety equipment and fall protection are provided.

Support warehouse operations as needed.
