Special Events Coordinator, School of Law

Under the leadership of the Director of Operations and Special Events Manager, the Event Coordinator will plan and execute Law School events from start to finish, process all necessary event forms, purchase requests, payments and contracts as required by university policies. Work directly with caterers and other vendors. As-needed work after hours and weekends.Coordinate and work closely with internal service providers like Facilities and Media Services, external vendors, and internal clients including faculty, staff, students, the foundation, and alumni. Work collaboratively with functional leaders and staff to ensure the smooth execution of on-site events in support of the priorities of the Dean.Manage room reservations for the Law School event space. Create and maintain events calendar, oversee and assist with room setups and clean up. Keep inventory of department items including, but not limited to tables, linens, drinks, and other supplies.Work closely with student support staff to complete their assigned duties.Other functions as assigned.
