Summary/Objective:
OnPoint Automation group is seeking a skilled IT/OT Engineer. In this role, develop, build, and maintain our customer’s Operational Technology systems. You will focus on ensuring that their Operational Technology (OT) systems are secure, patched and managed.
Qualified systems engineers will have a deep IT, computer systems engineering, or systems engineering and analysis background. Your goal will be to ensure that the technology infrastructure of our customer’s runs smoothly and efficiently. This role will require on-call commitments at least once a month and non-business hour work may be necessary occasionally.
Essential Functions:

Managing the OT network and virtual environment for key clients as part of ongoing service contract.

Supporting EPMS (Energy and Power Monitoring System)
-
implement and maintain projects that support the overall IT/OT vision
-
Comfortable working under minimal supervision and driving multi-year technology and modernization efforts with our customers.

Define, implement, and document operational processes and procedures, with periodic reviews for efficiency and improvement
-
Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
-
Proactively manage and monitor systems and infrastructure to ensure the highest levels of availability
-
Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
-
Provide technical support for IT/OT integrated equipment and services
-
Ability to troubleshoot and discover alternate solutions to issues.

- Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution

Assist in OnPoint Automation project deployment and services

Qualifications:
-
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject preferred
-
Operational Technology (ICS IT/OT) Engineer with 2-5 years of maintenance and support (Preferred)
-
PME (Power Monitoring Expert) certification or the ability to obtain PME certification (on the job training)
-
CCNA certification (preferred)
-
Knowledge of SQL
-
Strong project management and organization skills – including documenting workflows and detailed service reports
-
Configuration and maintenance of IT, EPMS, and building control software technologies
-
Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting Windows environments
-
Experience in automating technical and business workflows
-
Experience with hybrid infrastructures (on-premises and cloud).

Advanced networking knowledge (Cisco/AMG/Juniper ect.)

Experience with monitoring systems (BAS, EPMS, SCADA)
-
Experience in Virtual Environments (VMWare, Hyper V)
