Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Traveling Industrial Pipefitters for projects located in the Cameron, LA area . This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $39.50/hour based on experience plus $105/day per diem for Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. If you are a Pipefitter and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!
Job Scope:
-
Read and interpret blueprints, ISO s, filed installations, material takeoffs, field sketches, and understand specifications

Fabricate and install screw pipe, socket weld pipe, stainless tubing, carbon steel weld pipe, stainless steel weld pipe

Miter and fabricate all pipe
-
Installs valves, underground pipe, pipe hangers and supports
-
Steam and heat tracing
-
Use beveling machine
-
Basic plumbing repair
-
Minor valve maintenance and repair
-
Test piping systems
-
Oxygen and acetylene cutting
-
Basic rigging
-
Operation of pneumatic and electric tools
-
Leak test tubing systems
Requirements
-
Minimum 4 years of industrial construction/maintenance welding experience.

Must pass a drug screen, hearing test, and a respirator fit test

NCCER Certified preferred
