Position Summary: We are seeking a hands-on Senior Manufacturing Engineer with 5-15 years of experience to build and improve manufacturing operations in a fast-paced engineered-to-order (ETO) environment. This role will lead production support, process optimization, routing accuracy, labor efficiency, and cross-functional execution across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and IT. The ideal candidate will combine practical manufacturing experience with the ability to establish disciplined processes, strengthen Epicor ERP data, and develop scalable production systems for Electrical Equipment Solutions. Responsibilities: Design, specify, procure, and implement tooling, fixtures and equipment to ensure repeatable, scalable, and safe production of UL 891 switchboards and other large electrical assemblies. Serve as the primary hands-on resource for troubleshooting tooling, equipment, and process issues, and implement practical corrective actions that minimize downtime and prevent recurrence. Collaborate closely with Industrial Engineers and production staff to implement flexible manufacturing solutions that accommodate low-volume, high-mix Engineered to Order (ETO) production, as well as lower mix Configure to Order (CTO) production. Identify, prioritize, implement, and document continuous improvement, design for manufacture (DFM), and cost-savings opportunities that improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
