CNA TraineeRate: $18.38/hour Shift: Full-Time, Part-TimeSchedule: Days during training
Taconic Rehabilitation & Nursing at Hopewell is looking to add a CNA Trainee to its team. This position provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience while participating in a Certified Nursing Assistant training program. Under the supervision of licensed nursing staff and instructors, you'll learn the skills needed to provide compassionate care and support to residents in a skilled nursing environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Participate in the facility's Certified Nursing Assistant training program

Observe and learn resident care techniques, safety procedures, and infection control practices
-
Assist with resident care activities as permitted under training program guidelines and supervision
-
Practice CNA skills through demonstrations, return demonstrations, and supervised clinical experiences
-
Communicate resident observations and concerns to nursing staff and instructors
-
Maintain resident dignity, privacy, confidentiality, and rights at all times
-
Follow facility policies, safety procedures, and infection prevention protocols
-
Attend all required classes, clinical training sessions, and educational activities
-
Complete training assignments, skills evaluations, and competency requirements

Perform additional duties as assigned within the scope of the training program
REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma, GED, or currently enrolled in a high school equivalency program preferred

Interest in pursuing a career as a Certified Nursing Assistant

Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team
-
Compassionate, dependable, and eager to learn
-
Ability to follow directions and maintain professional conduct
-
Must successfully meet all program and facility requirements for participation in CNA training
