Full job description

About Doss

DOSS is building an Operations Cloud for the real world. A modern, AI-native platform for physical product businesses to manage the flow of goods, dollars, and data in real time, across:

  • Procurement

  • Inventory

  • Orders

  • Fulfillment

  • Finance

Built to replace spreadsheet chaos and rigid, consultant-heavy ERPs. Fast time-to-value, adaptable as the business evolves. Through our Adaptive Resource Platform (ARP) and unified operational data model, teams deploy quickly, automate workflows, and make changes without months of re-implementation. We recently raised a $55M Series B, co-led by Madrona and Premji Invest. Participation from Intuit Ventures, Theory Ventures, General Catalyst, Contrary Capital, and Pathlight VC. DOSS is trusted by fast-growing operators to run critical operations with speed, control, and confidence.

About the Role Doss's Forward Deployed Services (FDS) team is the core engine of DOSS and the success of our customers. This unique role sits at the intersection of product, data, operations, implementation and customer partnership. The team is responsible for the entire post-sales product operations and implementation lifecycle:

  • Discovery: partnering with cross functional client leadership to analyze their operational and financial workflows (flow of goods, information and money) and requirements

  • Product Design: Data modeling, workflows and integrations

  • Build/Configure on DOSS platform

  • UAT and Go-live

The Forward Deployed Product Manager will support our push to upper mid-market and enterprise clients, and will have multiple responsibilities:

  • Support end-to-end ERP lifecycle process and success for our clients

  • Build new product capabilities/solutions within the DOSS ERP platform

  • Contribute to best practices and process improvements across the team

While having previous ERP or industry experience is strongly preferred, our current team comes from a mix of business and technical backgrounds. What we value the most are:

  • Ownership/accountability mindset

  • Customer obsession (including client/stakeholder management)

  • Appetite for operational and technical details

  • Business acumen to zoom out and discuss value drivers

  • Passion for learning quickly

We are open to hiring across the US, but at the moment we are prioritizing candidates in Denver, CO.

What You'll Do

  • Support end-to-end post sales customer lifecycle from discovery, design, product implementation and go-live across our bigger clients - you are responsible for ensuring our clients achieve success and value from DOSS

  • Conduct cross functional deep dives across customer organizations to map end-to-end business processes and workflows

  • Build new product capabilities that help support DOSS's push to upper mid market and enterprise clients

  • Contribute to best in class practices and processes across the entire team

  • Translate process flows into product design and configuration within the DOSS platform

  • Collaborate with technical teams on integrations and data migrations required for successful implementations

  • Support UAT, training, and go-live support; building relationships with clients to drive retention and potentially upsell → turning our customers to our biggest advocates!!

  • Contribute to initiatives to drive improvements in the DOSS product and customer lifecycle processes via automation and AI - we are an AI native company and team

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years in engineering (industrial, process, computer etc.), consulting, finance, operations, product operations or technical program management at a technology company - ERP experience not required (but is a major plus)

  • Systems Thinker. Everything in our business is highly interconnected across people, process, and technology. In order to make progress you need to be able to traverse it, untangle it, and put it back together.

  • High-Intensity. You have experience in high-pressure roles within startups, consulting, finance etc. - these are your real preferences, not your stated preferences.

  • Technical from First Principles. You can grok hard engineering and logic problems from a place of intuition, not memorization.

  • Intellectual Firepower. You cut through noise, synthesize, and get to the right answers fast.

  • Strong analytical mindset; experience with SQL is a plus (but not required)
