Full job description
JEA is seekingEnvironmental Engineerstudents for our paid 2027 Summer Internship Program. Students selected to participate in our Internship Program will have an opportunity to gain real world, on-the-job experience, and network with business professionals to develop valuable leadership, professional etiquette and presentation skills.
AnEnvironmental Engineeringintern at JEA you can expect meaningful, applied experience that blends engineering, compliance, sustainability, and fieldwork within a real public‑utility environment. Because JEA manages water, wastewater, electric generation, and environmental compliance programs, interns typically gain exposure across environmental domains.
To be considered you must meet the following requirements:
- Rising Sophomore, Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor's Degree inCivil Engineering:
- GPA of 3.0 or higher (copy of most recent transcript required)
- Available to work a 32-hour work week for 13 weeks between May and August (Jacksonville, FL)
