The ideal candidate brings sound judgment, strong organizational skills, and the ability to balance employee support with regulatory and business requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Guide full-cycle employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding coordination, separation processes, and structured exit discussions that surface actionable retention insights.

  • Partner with recruitment teams to support candidate screening, interview coordination, and job advertisement placement across appropriate recruiting channels.

  • Administer benefit programs for new employees and annual enrollment periods while addressing employee questions related to health and welfare coverage.

  • Manage payroll operations by maintaining accurate employee records, deductions, tax details, and payment history documentation.

  • Reconcile benefit premium statements against payroll deductions and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

  • Prepare and support recurring compliance reporting and regulatory submissions, including workforce-related annual and quarterly filings.

  • Respond to unemployment matters and assist with workers’ compensation, leave, and workplace accommodation cases through proper documentation and follow-up.

  • Handle employee relations concerns by conducting fact-finding reviews, documenting outcomes, and advising leaders on appropriate next steps.

  • Coach supervisors on performance conversations, evaluations, and consistent documentation practices that align with company policy and employment standards.

  • Coordinate training efforts and lead new employee orientation programs to help employees integrate successfully into the organization. Requirements • Demonstrated experience in human resources management covering employee relations, benefits administration, payroll support, and compliance.

  • Working knowledge of employment practices, workplace investigations, unemployment processes, and accommodation or leave-related case support.

  • Ability to manage benefit enrollment activities and maintain accuracy across payroll records, deductions, and employee data.

  • Experience preparing or supporting regulatory reporting such as OSHA logs, census reporting, or related annual compliance submissions.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to advise managers, handle sensitive matters professionally, and maintain confidentiality.

  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms and standard HR administrative systems used for recordkeeping and reporting.

  • Comfortable analyzing trends from employee feedback, exit interviews, compensation data, or operational metrics to inform recommendations.
