This is your opportunity to use your communication, relationship-building, and business development skills to help graduates launch successful careers while building meaningful partnerships with employers.

We’re looking for a motivated, relationship-focused professional who enjoys being out in the community, developing new connections, and turning those relationships into real employment opportunities for graduates.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Regional Employer Partnerships & Career Outcomes Specialist, you’ll work with employers, graduates, and Career Services teams to develop partnerships that create a strong pipeline of career opportunities.

Candidates must have the ability to travel regularly throughout the state of Massachusetts as assigned, with travel of up to 50% and to work on-site at an assigned campus when not traveling

The on-site campus can be based out of one of our following Connecticut campus locations: Brockton, Springfield, Worcester

You will:

  • Build and maintain relationships with employers across skilled-trades and allied-health industries

  • Meet with employers to understand their hiring needs, workforce challenges, required skills, and hiring timelines

  • Communicate the value of our programs and connect employers with qualified graduates

  • Develop and manage a pipeline of employers and job opportunities throughout your assigned region

  • Match qualified graduates with relevant employment opportunities and coordinate resumes, interviews, feedback, and hiring follow-up

  • Develop long-term employer relationships that result in repeat hiring and ongoing partnerships

  • Support career fairs, advisory committees, classroom presentations, mock interviews, employer site visits, mentorship opportunities, and other employer engagement activities

  • Work with Career Services and campus leadership to support programs that need additional assistance meeting employment outcomes

  • Contact graduates to provide job-search assistance, identify employment status, and reconnect graduates with available opportunities

  • Maintain accurate records of employer activity, job opportunities, graduate referrals, interviews, hires, and employment outcomes

  • Review activity and employment data to identify opportunities and prioritize outreach

  • Collaborate with Career Services, Education, Admissions/Marketing, Compliance, and campus leadership

  • Participate in regional projects, training, and ongoing professional development

Minimum Requirements

Required:

  • High School diploma or GED

  • 3+ years of progressive experience in career services, recruiting, staffing, workforce development, employer relations, business development, consultative sales, higher education, or a closely related field

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Strong relationship-building and networking skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong presentation, facilitation, negotiation, organization, and time-management skills

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines

  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing regional needs and priorities

  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and experience using a CRM, applicant tracking system, or student information system

Preferred:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, education, communications, workforce development, or a related field

  • Experience in postsecondary career education, proprietary education, community colleges, workforce agencies, staffing, or apprenticeship ecosystems

  • Experience developing employer partnerships or business-to-business relationships

  • Experience connecting candidates or graduates with employment opportunities

Why Work With Us?

You’ll join a team dedicated to helping graduates successfully transition from training into meaningful careers. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to make an impact not only on the graduates you serve, but also on the employers and communities we partner with.

Supported by Career Services leadership, campus teams, and employer partners, you’ll have the opportunity to build relationships, create new opportunities, and help graduates take the next step in their careers.
