Ultimate LLC is urgently seeking to hire Carpenters for full-time commercial work in Shawnee, Kansas . The pay range for this position is $18-$25 per hour based on experience.

Ultimate Carpenter Responsibilities

• Framing, and repairing structures and fixtures of wood, plywood and wallboard

• Use hand and electric tools to cut, fabricate, and install framework components

• Build or repair frameworks and exterior trim, and other wooden fixtures

• Install Sheet Metal onto exterior of commercial buildings

• Inspect sheet metal for damage and perform any needed repairs

• Use hand tools such as hammers, electric power tools and snips

• Comply with construction regulations

Ultimate Carpenter Requirements

• 1+ years of Carpentry or Sheetmetal experience

• Ability to work out doors

• 18+ years of age

• Ability to perform regular standing, bending and kneeling and lifting of up to 50 lbs without assistance

• Math, problem solving, and construction skills

Job Skills & Qualifications

• High school education or GED

• Construction safety certification such as OSHA training is a plus

• Physical fitness level that will allow for quick movement, climbing, bending and lifting heavy loads

• Previous experience in roofing, construction or related scope of work

• Communication and teamwork skills including an openness to receiving feedback from superiors

• General knowledge of roofing procedures, techniques and specialties

• Strong work ethic and desire to perform quality work

• Ability to read and follow instructions from blueprints, drawings and diagrams

• Endurance to spend hours working in extreme weather conditions such as heat or cold
