Job Description
Environmental Health & Safety Manager/Lead
Locations US – Montgomeryville PA , Trenton NJ and Acton, MA
We are presently seeking an Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) Manager to oversee compliance programs, hazardous waste management, regulatory reporting, and advance facility initiatives and systems improvements. In this role, you’ll drive safety initiatives, manage permits, and ensure a safe, efficient work environment for our world class organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Lead the development and implementation of EH&S programs and procedures to meet regulatory standards

Lead accident investigations, including interviews, accident reporting, claim reporting and submission, medical clinic assistance, and communicating claim updates
-
Coordinate corrective actions as necessary
-
Assist with inspections (scheduled and unscheduled) by regulatory agencies and subsequent inspection closure requirements
-
Responsible for OSHA and EH&S recordkeeping, document retention, and filing including hazardous waste records, manifests, contingency plans, and SDS library
-
Ensure hazardous waste is managed in accordance with Federal, State and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements
-
Oversee third party contractors and consultants as they relate to EH&S activities
-
Coordinate product environmental compliance, including RoHS, REACH, Prop 65, etc.
-
Perform job hazard analysis and the selection of personal protection equipment
-
Coordinate and create facility-specific safety training using internal resources or consultants
-
Maintain compliance calendar to include required audits and training schedules
-
Coordinate local Emergency Response Teams (ERT)
-
Responsible for purchasing safety equipment, first aid supplies, etc.
Requirements:
-
Associates degree in Occupational Safety and Environmental Sciences (or equivalent) and 5+ years of experience of EH&S in a manufacturing setting or Bachelors degree in Occupational Safety and Environmental Sciences (or equivalent) and 1+ year of related experience

Intimate knowledge of OSHA regulations
-
Previous experience with program development and management, including: LOTO, Accident Reporting, Accident Investigation, Fire Safety, Fall Protection, and Electrical Safety is preferred
-
Experience with EHS internal auditing/corrective action development is preferred
-
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to partner with management and staff.

Ability to work with various computer programs to manage data reporting & tracking
-
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Physical requirements:
-
Ability and flexibility to support multiple site manufacturing facilities (Trenton and Montgomeryville) to maintain, implement, and coordinate safety programs, training, etc.
-
This position is a physically active role – must have the ability to climb ladders for roof access
-
Must be able to conduct daily and weekly audits walking and/or standing in facility up to 8 hours per day
-
Must be able to push and/or pull carts up to 50 lbs.
-
Must be willing and able to do other duties as assigned
