Job Description

Works in partnership with department leaders to provide program direction and management. Develops and oversees community-based programs which meet the needs of patients, families, and community served.

Experience

  • 4 years of experience coordinating small or department programs
  • 4 years of experience in a professional working environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in community programs and health promotion
  • For injury and illness prevention, licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the single State of Georgia or Multi-State through the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact, if bachelor’s degree in nursing
  • For obesity, Georgia licensed dietitian currently registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration or nationally recognized exercise certification or Registered Nurse with obesity related experience
  • For behavioral and mental health, licensure if mental health related profession through accrediting entity

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in appropriate field

Certification Summary

  • Valid Georgia Driver’s License
  • Must have reliable personal automobile
  • Proof of vehicle insurance

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage budgets and other financial skills
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including demonstrated experience working collaboratively with teams and employees at all levels within an organization
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated success in program development, project planning, and project management
  • Ability to multitask, balance multiple priorities, and work independently and within teams
  • Personal organization and time management

Job Responsibilities

  • Creates, manages, and executes project scope, schedule, resources, and change management initiatives.
  • Communicates and documents project plan, status updates, business goals, and governance plan to team and stakeholders effectively.
  • Identifies and manages project risks, issues, and opportunities.
  • Collaborates with specialists both inside and outside the organization with assigned tasks to deliver subject matter expert activities.
  • Ensures project deliverables are on time, high quality, and on budget.
