Friendly Acura is looking for a candidate to purchase used cars for retail and wholesale.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work directly with our employees, customers and managers to purchase pre-owned inventory for the dealership.

  • Build rapport with customers to establish customer network.

  • Making 80-100 market indicates per day.

  • Travel offsite to meet clients and appraise their vehicle for sale.

  • Appraise your own vehicles, using OBD scanners, tire tread gauges.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required.

  • Prior sales experience preferred, but not required.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Understanding of inventory control.

  • Strong computer & phone skills (Internet, MS Outlook, CRM).

  • Professional appearance and strong work ethic.

  • Self-motivated, goal oriented, and ability to work within a fast paced environment.

  • Current, valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).

  • Knowledge of Vauto inventory too helps but not required.

  • Some general automotive knowledge a plus.
