Full job description
Tri-City Group is currently seeking an Assistant Project Manager for an opening in Port Washington, WI. The Assistant Project Manager plays a key role in keeping projects organized, maintaining accurate information, and supporting execution from pre-construction through closeout.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Support project teams with documentation, submittals, and scope tracking

Assist with gathering quotes, takeoffs, and responding to RFIs/RFQs

Review quotes for scope gaps, pricing changes, and completeness

Maintain current drawings, specifications, and project documentation across platforms

Assist with shop drawings and submittal coordination
-
Track subcontractors, equipment, and quoted items
-
Support weekly reporting (labor, schedule progress, milestones, delivery updates)
-
Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and subcontractors
-
Assist with project closeout including warranties, O&M manuals, and as-builts
-
Help coordinate vendor start-up, site access, and owner training
Qualifications:
-
1–2 years of construction or project coordination experience (preferred)
-
Familiarity with construction documents, submittals, and project workflows

Experience with tools such as Procore & Bluebeam (preferred)

Strong organizational and document management skills
Candidates must possess strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This includes effective communication, a proactive approach to follow-up, and the ability to collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to keep projects moving forward.
