Your Opportunity: Precision Press, a division of Taylor Corporation, is looking for an Overnight Production Supervisor in our North Mankato-MN facility. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing our PCMC and Flexo presses alongside finishing operations, while driving quality, speed, and efficiency each night.

Your Shift:

• 3rd Shift; Monday - Friday, 7pm to 5am

Your Responsibilities:

• Help drive efficiencies on the PCMC press, leveraging your CI or wide web press experience

• Help manage employee's day to day and work flow

• Maintain KPI data and share with team on a daily basis

• Supervise and oversee the printing process to ensure production meets quality standards

• Schedule and coordinate all production activities, including staffing, equipment maintenance, and production runs

• Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports for management

• Monitor and control production costs to ensure budget targets are met

• Ensure all safety and environmental regulations are followed

• Apply your 5S or Six Sigma background to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes that increase efficiency and reduce waste

• Manage and train production staff to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols

• Collaborate with other departments, including sales and customer service, to ensure timely delivery of products and services

You Must Have:

• Demonstrated experience in building trust within a team of direct reports and ability to achieve positive team dynamic and employee outcomes

• Exceptional communication skills to articulate process changes & improvements with production team and business leadership

• Strong organizational skills and flexibility to monitor workflow and adjust resources in order to meet daily output goals and customer needs

• Technical knowledge to troubleshoot machine and process issues quickly and accurately

• Willingness to work alongside employees as workload dictates and be adaptable to changing business needs

We Would Also Prefer:

• Experience in a print manufacturing environment, with working knowledge of print equipment and processes, especially with PCMC, CI, wide web, and water-based presses

• 2+ years of leadership experience with direct reports

• A 5S or Six Sigma background, with a track record of driving continuous improvement

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $75,000 - 80,000. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employee.
