Family Engagement Specialist $18.60 - $22.66Summary of Job DutiesThe Family Engagement Specialist builds positive relationships with families and provides support through outreach, coaching, parenting education, and connection to community resources. This position promotes family participation, strengthens protective factors, and helps families access services using a welcoming, strengths-based approach.Position Locations: Bath Main Office, Hornell, Elmira, Montour Falls, and Corning, NYIdeal Skills * The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. * Work independently and problem-solve * Strong computer skills in MS Office and data/reporting skillsEducation requirementsAssociates degree in human services, social work, psychology, or related field or equivalent with experience in a related field of work.The ideal candidate must have a drivers license, meeting agency standards and consistent, reliable transportation that will allow regular travel in and around the service area.
