  • Oversee daily pharmacy operations, including prescription verification, workflow management, inventory control, and medication safety.

  • Provide exceptional patient care through accurate dispensing, medication counseling, immunizations, medication therapy management, and other clinical services.

  • Supervise, mentor, and support pharmacy technicians and other pharmacy staff to promote a culture of safety, accountability, and excellent customer service.

  • Maintain quality assurance standards and implement continuous process improvements.

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

  • Support the growth of pharmacy and clinical services within the community.

  • Maintain accurate documentation for audits, inspections, controlled substance records, and internal reporting.

  • Help drive operational excellence by balancing patient care, compliance, workflow efficiency, and business performance.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited college or school of pharmacy.

  • Active Iowa Pharmacist license in good standing (or ability to obtain licensure prior to start).

  • One or more years of community or retail pharmacy experience preferred. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

  • Working knowledge of pharmacy regulations, third-party insurance billing, and pharmacy management systems.

  • Strong clinical judgment with a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly Pay: $65-$68 per hour

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance

  • Annual employee profit-sharing program

  • Paid Time Off (PTO)

  • 401k with 4% match

  • Continuing education and professional development support

  • Opportunity to help shape the future of rural healthcare
