Overview
Resurrection Medical Center (RMC) is a nationally recognized and accredited teaching hospital providing high-quality, compassionate and convenient care to residents of Chicago’s northwest side and surrounding suburbs. Recognized for excellence in quality, safety and patient care, Resurrection Medical Center offers a comprehensive range of emergency, inpatient and surgical services, supported by the strength and resources of Prime Healthcare, a nationally recognized, award-winning health system.
Its state-of-the-art, nationally recognized and accredited teaching hospital provides a comprehensive range of emergency, inpatient and surgical services. It is a Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center of Excellence. RMC is known for safety and excellence in complex procedures, including cardiovascular, neurosurgical and cancer care as well is orthopedic surgery, and total joint replacement including knee and hip replacement. RMC also offers a complete complement of Outpatient Services, including same-day surgery, lab and testing, imaging and more.
Responsibilities
The Director of Human Resources formulates and supervises programs relative to selection, training, promotion, welfare, and other employer/employee relationships. Interviews job applicants; develops personnel record forms; adjust disputes and grievances and recommends necessary disciplinary actions; analyzes, classifies and evaluates jobs. Administers employee welfare and recreation services, and serves as an adviser to executive staff in personnel implications of policies, programs, and proposed organization changes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required

Master’s degree preferred

Three (3) Years of related healthcare experience required.

Must be familiar with the hospital organization; functions of various departments; current personnel practices and techniques, including review techniques; training methods; and job analysis.

Familiar with the labor market, laws, wage and hour regulations, and ERISA guidelines preferred.

Knowledge of state and federal wage and hour required.

Familiar with Joint Commission and HFAP standards.

Resurrection Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $110,656.00 to $160,264.00 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
