Pay or shift range: $93,600 USD to $101,920 USD
The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, shift, benefit selection or other job-related reasons.

Susquehanna Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is looking to add an RN Supervisor to its nursing leadership team. In this role, you'll oversee nursing operations during your assigned shift, ensuring residents receive high-quality care while supporting staff, maintaining regulatory compliance, and promoting a safe and positive environment. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervise nursing staff, including team leaders, nursing assistants, and trainees during assigned shifts

Ensure resident care plans are implemented, updated, and followed appropriately
-
Conduct resident assessments and monitor changes in condition, ensuring timely communication with providers and families
-
Oversee medication administration, treatments, documentation, and nursing services
-
Address resident, family, visitor, and staff concerns while promoting a positive care experience
-
Assist with staffing coverage, scheduling adjustments, and overtime authorization as needed
-
Support staff education, orientation, coaching, and performance management activities
-
Ensure compliance with facility policies, infection control standards, resident rights, and regulatory requirements

Respond to emergencies, safety concerns, incidents, and facility operational issues
-
Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives
-
Perform additional duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:

Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred

Valid NYS Registered Nurse (RN) License required

Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in a geriatric or rehabilitation setting; 3+ years preferred

Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred

Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills

Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution abilities

Knowledge of long-term care regulations, infection control practices, and resident rights
-
Ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
