California-Licensed Labor & Employment Litigation Attorneys

Beacon Hill was founded to set a new standard in search, career placement and flexible staffing. Beacon Hill's client, a regional law firm, is seeking experienced Labor & Employment litigation contract attorneys to support its team. Ideal candidates will have experience handling California wage-and-hour class action claims and PAGA cases and will be comfortable managing matters through all phases of litigation. * Location: Remote (U.S.-based; California-based candidates preferred); active California bar license required. * Start: ASAP * Duration: Initial 6-month assignment with the possibility of extension and potential direct-hire conversion * Concurrent employment: May be considered * Hours: Up to 40 hours per week; reduced schedules may be considered for exceptional candidates * Pay: $100-$120/hour, depending on experience Qualifications: * Active California bar license in good standing * 12+ years of experience handling California wage and hour class action claims * Experience with PAGA matters is strongly preferred * Strong academic credentials * Excellent writing skills * Strong analytical skills * Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment Responsibilities include: * Managing matters through all phases of litigation * Drafting and responding to discovery requests and initial pleadings * Researching, drafting, and arguing motions * Taking and defending depositions Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.
