Full job description

About ARQ ARQ is one of the fastest-growing fintechs in the world. Our mission is to redefine how people interact with money across borders, building the infrastructure to move value seamlessly. We’re still early in our journey, which means every person who joins shapes the future of our product, culture, and growth. If you’re excited by big challenges, global impact, and the chance to grow fast with a world-class team, ARQ is the place to do it.

The role You will think like a founder: curious about the why, ruthless about priorities, and at your best when things move fast. You’re fine with not having all the answers, you learn quickly, and you do whatever it takes to win. You’ll own some of ARQ’s most important business challenges, from figuring out where to grow next to making our operations work better at scale. You’ll combine sharp analytical thinking with hands-on execution, working directly with founders and teams across the business to turn ambiguous problems into clear priorities and measurable results.

What you'll be doing

  • Own strategic and operational initiatives end to end, from defining the problem and building the business case to execution and measuring results.

  • Identify opportunities to accelerate growth, improve unit economics, and make our operations more efficient.

  • Turn complex data, customer insights, and market research into clear recommendations - and put them into action.

  • Build and scale processes, tools, and workflows that help ARQ move faster, using AI and automation wherever they make a meaningful difference.

  • Define and track success metrics, spot issues early, and drive improvements across the business.

  • Work across product, engineering, operations, finance, and compliance to unblock decisions and deliver on shared priorities.

  • Lead partnerships with external providers - banks, processors, and other strategic partners - when relevant to your projects.

What you'll need

  • Previous experience thriving somewhere demanding, like MBB, a high-growth startup, or a business operating at significant scale.

  • Strong analytical skills. You can structure ambiguous problems, work confidently with data, and connect your analysis to business decisions.

  • A track record of getting things done. You take ownership of outcomes and follow through from recommendation to implementation.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication. You translate complexity into clarity for frontline teams and executives.

  • A bias to action and comfort with ambiguity. You might not always have all the answers, but you know how to find them and iterate quickly.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities without losing momentum.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in fintech, payments, or a highly regulated consumer business.

  • Experience at a high-growth startup from early to scale stage.

  • Experience launching or scaling businesses in Latin America.

  • Proficiency in SQL and experience using AI or automation to improve business processes.

  • Spanish or Portuguese language skills.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and benefits

  • Stock options, so you own part of what you build

  • Discretionary performance bonus

  • The latest tools and technology

  • A world-class team that will challenge and grow your skills

  • Office Policy: 3-4 days a week in-office
