Full job description
Talkiatry is seeking a data-driven, strategic, and execution-oriented Senior Manager, Growth Strategy & Operations to help scale one of the company's most important growth engines: the Mindshare Referrals program. In this role, you'll serve as a strategic partner to field leadership, helping shape growth strategy, identify opportunities to accelerate performance, and build the capabilities needed to drive consistent, scalable growth.
You'll operate at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and business operations, combining analytical rigor with strong business judgment to solve complex growth challenges. You'll work closely with an Area Director to develop market strategies, identify performance drivers, and translate insights into actionable plans. Beyond your Area, you'll collaborate with leaders across Talkiatry to test new approaches, share best practices, and help shape how the broader Mindshare program evolves as it scales.
You're the ideal candidate if you enjoy solving ambiguous problems, thinking strategically, and seeing your ideas translate into measurable business results. You bring a structured, hypothesis-driven approach to problem-solving, thrive in fast-paced environments, and are equally comfortable developing a growth strategy and rolling up your sleeves to bring it to life.
This is a unique opportunity to take meaningful ownership of a high-growth business, work closely with senior leadership, and help build a best-in-class growth organization – ultimately enabling more patients to access the care they need.
About Talkiatry Talkiatry’s mission is to transform psychiatry with accessible, human, and responsible care. We are a national psychiatric practice co-founded by a patient and a triple-board-certified psychiatrist, working to solve the biggest barriers to mental healthcare: access, affordability, and clinician burnout.
Millions of patients struggle to get timely psychiatric care, and providers face shrinking resources and growing demand. With innovative technology, a care-forward approach, and system-level partnerships, Talkiatry expands access to high-quality psychiatric services—empowering providers, health systems, and communities.
You Will:
-
Drive Area growth strategy: Partner with an Area Director to develop growth plans, prioritize market opportunities, and define strategies to accelerate referral growth
-
Turn insights into action: Analyze Area, account, and provider performance to diagnose gaps, identify growth drivers, and recommend actions to improve results
-
Optimize market coverage: Shape Territory strategy, account segmentation, and provider targeting to maximize field team effectiveness
-
Build tools and improve operations: Leverage AI and emerging technologies to build practical tools, automate workflows, and develop scalable solutions that improve field effectiveness and operational efficiency
-
Drive performance visibility: Develop reporting, analyses, and business reviews that help leadership track results and make informed decisions
-
Support strategic partner engagement: Prepare performance insights and recommendations for business reviews with health system partners to identify opportunities for continued growth
You are:
-
A strategic thinker who brings structure to ambiguous problems and develops practical, data-driven solutions
-
Analytical and commercially minded, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and business recommendations
-
An innovative problem-solver who uses AI and emerging technologies to develop creative, scalable solutions
-
A hands-on, entrepreneurial operator who moves seamlessly between strategy and execution, takes ownership, and drives initiatives through to completion
-
A strong communicator who can simplify complex ideas and influence senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders
-
Collaborative and relationship-oriented, with the ability to build trust and work effectively across teams
-
Motivated by mission and impact, you care about improving how patients access care
You have:
-
4–8 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, strategy & operations, revenue or growth operations, or a similarly analytical and execution-oriented role
-
2+ years of experience in a high-growth company or startup environment preferred
-
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and SQL
-
Demonstrated proficiency using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or similar models to solve business problems and improve efficiency
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior leadership
-
Experience supporting a commercial, growth, or field-based organization preferred
-
Familiarity with CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce a plus
-
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree a plus
What We Offer
-
Competitive compensation with performance-based bonus
-
Hybrid NYC role with regular in-office collaboration
-
A high-impact position with visibility across Talkiatry’s leadership and field teams
-
Opportunity to directly shape one of Talkiatry’s most strategic growth programs
-
A mission-driven culture grounded in purpose, accountability, and innovation
-
Cross-functional exposure and clear pathways for professional development
-
The chance to operate like a builder—designing the systems and insights that fuel growth
You'll be more than an analyst. You'll be a strategic operator, a trusted partner to leadership, and a key contributor to how Talkiatry scales one of its most important growth programs.
