Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Requirements and System Management Analyst - JAMA & DOORS Administrator to serve as the primary owner of our requirements management tools and processes. We are hiring for the Electric Warfare Engineering function of one of our largest Defense and Technology clients. This individual will support engineering teams by managing requirements throughout the development lifecycle, maintaining backlog integrity, administering JAMA and DOORS environments, and providing reporting and traceability insights to program leadership. The ideal candidate has experience working within systems engineering organizations and is comfortable interfacing with engineers, program managers, and leadership to ensure requirements are properly documented, tracked, and reported.
On a daily basis, the JAMA & DOORS Administrator will manage and maintain requirements repositories within JAMA Connect and IBM Rational DOORS, ensuring requirements are accurately captured, organized, and traceable. They will partner closely with Systems Engineers, Program Managers, Product Owners, and technical teams to review incoming requirements, maintain backlog health, facilitate requirements reviews, and support change management activities. The individual will create and maintain custom filters, queries, dashboards, and reports to provide visibility into program status, requirements maturity, and traceability metrics. They will monitor data quality across both platforms, troubleshoot user issues, manage permissions and configurations, support baseline releases, and prepare reporting packages for engineering leadership, customer reviews, and audit activities. This person will act as the primary subject matter expert for the requirements management toolset and help drive continuous improvement of requirements governance processes.
Skills and Requirements
3+ years of experience administering JAMA Connect, IBM Rational DOORS, or similar requirements management tools. Experience managing requirements backlogs, requirements lifecycle activities, and change control processes. Strong understanding of requirements traceability, configuration management, and systems engineering best practices. Experience creating and maintaining custom filters, dashboards, queries, and reports for engineering and program stakeholders. Ability to work cross-functionally with Systems Engineering, Program Management, Quality, and Development teams. Experience supporting Aerospace, Defense, Telecommunications, Medical Device, or other regulated industries. Experience with DOORS Next Generation (DNG), Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or Power BI. Understanding of Requirements Verification & Validation (V&V) and the Systems Engineering lifecycle. Experience supporting engineering audits, compliance activities, and design reviews. Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as Cameo/MagicDraw.
