Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Firefighter/EMT to join one of our largest battery manufacturing clients in Queen Creek, AZ. This individual will play a critical role in fire prevention, fire protection, emergency response, and overall life safety across a large-scale manufacturing campus. Day-to-day responsibilities include responding to fire, medical, and technical rescue emergencies, monitoring and dispatching incidents through the Emergency Operations Center (EOC), overseeing inspection and maintenance of fire and life safety systems, conducting code compliance audits, and coordinating with internal stakeholders and external emergency response agencies. This person will also support emergency preparedness efforts by leading drills, training exercises, and Emergency Response Team (ERT) activities while serving as a subject matter expert on fire detection, alarm, and suppression systems. The ideal candidate has a strong firefighting background, emergency medical experience, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment.

Shift: TBD. Candidates will work one of two static, non-rotating 12-hour shift schedules. Schedules may follow either a 36-hour week/48-hour week alternating pattern or a schedule consisting of three 12-hour shifts followed by one 6-hour shift. Both schedules average approximately 42 hours per week.

Skills and Requirements

3+ years of experience in industrial, municipal, or emergency response firefighting environments Firefighter I & II certification Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) EMT-Basic (EMT-B) license or higher Industrial manufacturing or semiconductor/battery facility experience Experience managing or operating within an Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Experience reviewing construction drawings, building plans, and code compliance documentation Additional advanced rescue, fire instructor, or emergency management certifications
