What’s the role? We are seeking an Onsites Program Manager to join the Workplace Experience team. This role is the primary point of contact for every team at Etsy that gathers in person — leading the full lifecycle of supported onsites, from intake and planning support through data analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement. You will bring a sharp analytical lens to how Etsy teams gather, using data to build solutions that make onsites more effective over time.
This is a full-time position reporting to the Senior Manager, Community & Belonging.
What this team does at Etsy The Workplace Experience team includes our community events, food programming, office operations, and onsite management teams. We are a hands-on, helpful team that jumps in to solve problems quickly, ensuring that the office is always a welcoming and productive place to be.
Our team sits within the broader Workplace team that oversees how our offices are built, operated, and experienced by employees. In addition to Workplace Experience, the team includes safety and security, space planning, construction, design, and facilities.
What the day-to-day looks like
-
Own the end-to-end onsite planning experience for teams and meeting rooms, serving as a trusted primary point of contact from intake and prioritization through execution, follow-up, and reporting
-
Exercise sound judgment in triaging a high volume of space and onsite requests, balancing urgency, employee experience, and operational constraints
-
Steward the Onsite Calendar across Brooklyn, CDMX, and Dublin, ensuring clear visibility into activity, demand, and competing priorities
-
Build strong partnerships with planning leads, EAs, HRBPs, and cross-functional teams, including AV, catering, IT, and the Brooklyn Workplace team to deliver thoughtful, seamless onsite experiences
-
Translate data from ticket requests, trip information, access badge reports, space utilization, and satisfaction surveys into clear insights and actionable recommendations
-
Develop, maintain, and continuously improve planning resources, onsite guidance, and playbooks that make the process easier to navigate for employees and partners
-
Anticipate friction points and emerging needs across the onsite experience; bring forward practical solutions and help drive them through implementation
-
Coordinate the travel logistics that support team onsites, partnering closely with Finance’s T&E team and travel providers to help teams navigate booking, itinerary, and traveler needs in accordance with Etsy’s travel policy
-
Help establish a high bar for service, communication, and operational excellence across the Workplace Experience team
-
Of course, this is just a sample of the kinds of work this role will require! You should assume that your role will encompass other tasks, too, and that your job duties and responsibilities may change from time to time at Etsy’s discretion, or otherwise applicable with local law.
Qualities that will help you thrive in this role are:
-
2–4 years of experience in program coordination, workplace operations, event management, or a similar role with a demonstrated analytical and operational component
-
A strong sense of ownership and the ability to move work forward independently, while knowing when to seek input or escalate
-
Sound judgment and comfort navigating ambiguity; this role will evolve as Etsy’s onsite model develops, and a fully defined playbook will not always exist
-
Exceptional customer-service instincts, with a high bar for responsiveness, attention to detail, and follow-through
-
Excellent written communication skills and the ability to tailor information clearly for a distributed audience
-
Confidence managing multiple, interdependent workstreams at different stages without losing sight of the details or the larger employee experience
-
A thoughtful, data-informed approach to problem-solving, with the curiosity to identify patterns and the initiative to improve how work gets done
-
Proficiency with Google Workspace, Zendesk, and Slack; experience with Navan or a similar travel tool is a plus
-
An upbeat disposition and a sense of humor, plus an ability to remain calm under pressure and flexible in the face of changing priorities
-
A trust in and commitment to Etsy’s vision, mission, and values!
