Process Engineer

We are looking for a Process Engineer to join our R&D group in East Windsor, CT team!

As our Process Engineer, you will work closely with all departments at our Thermal Spray Surface Technologies facility.

This is a hands-on role, where you are actively involved in the full project cycle for our customers.

Location: East Windsor, CT

Salary: $80,000 - $85,000

Your Challenge

  • To coordinate a project from design to implementation.

  • Working within customer specifications and as per our site standards.

  • Continuous learning on new products, engineered coatings, and materials.

  • Verification of final product.

  • Working alongside the production engineering group to resolve any issues.

  • Perform basic root cause analysis.

  • Very hands-on role must be able to work alone and on the shop floor.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.

  • 1 - 3 years of experience in manufacturing, process, or quality engineering.

  • Knowledge of basic root-cause analysis techniques.

  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes, configuration management, and engineering documentation.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and apply engineering judgment under minimal supervision.

Preferred

  • Thermal spray or coating or special process experience or knowledge.

  • 3D design, robotics experience.
