Full job description

Job Duties

Before/During Shift Always keep bus bins in constant rotation

  • Prepare all stations with freshly cleaned glassware, silverware, plates, and napkins.

  • Get ice for bar and water stations/ fill water carafes

  • Fill/wipe condiments such as butter, salt, pepper, and sauces.

  • Fill/refresh sanitizer bucket, empty all trash bins, and replace liners as necessary.

  • Communicate regularly with servers and host to facilitate efficient table turnover.

Bussing a table do not stack heavy plates on water glasses

  • Quickly clear away dirty dinnerware, glassware, and utensils (bar glasses go to the bar).

  • Return dirty tables.

  • Reset/return to proper locations: candle, S&P, butter, dessert and drink menus.

  • Center chairs with place settings.

  • linens (napkins, place mats and tablecloths) to linen bin.

  • Wipe down and return condiments to server stations.

  • Wipe tables and chairs, reset them, and replace linens as needed.

  • Replace butcher paper (dining room) placemats (lounge).

  • Wipe down and return booster seats/high chairs.

  • Always wash hands after clearing tables before re-setting with clean setups.
