We are seeking a Manager, Procurement & Warehouse to join our team. This role is responsible for leading site procurement and warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient sourcing, purchasing, storage, and delivery of goods and services that support safe and reliable operations. The Manager, Procurement & Warehouse oversees strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiations, inventory management, and warehouse activities while partnering with site and corporate teams to achieve business objectives.
As a key member of the site leadership team, this position drives continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, service, compliance, supplier performance, and cost effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Strategic Sourcing
-
Develop and execute sourcing strategies that support operational and business objectives.
-
Lead supplier negotiations, contract development, and commercial agreements.
-
Drive cost reduction, cost avoidance, and value improvement initiatives.
-
Analyze spend data and market conditions to identify savings opportunities and support data-driven decision making.
-
Partner with stakeholders to expand spend under management and maximize supplier value.
Warehouse & Inventory Management
-
Oversee warehouse and stores operations, including receiving, inventory management, cycle counting, and materials handling activities.
-
Optimize MRO inventory levels to improve inventory turns, reduce aged inventory, and minimize carrying costs.
-
Ensure timely availability of materials, equipment, and services to support site operations.
-
Maintain inventory controls and processes in compliance with company policies and SOX requirements.
Supplier Performance & Operational Excellence
-
Develop and maintain supplier performance management programs, including performance reviews and risk assessments.
-
Mitigate supply chain risks through supplier diversification, contingency planning, and strategic sourcing initiatives.
-
Lead continuous improvement efforts focused on safety, quality, efficiency, and service performance.

Establish and monitor procurement and warehouse KPIs to drive department performance.
Cross-Functional Partnership
-
Serve as a strategic business partner to operations, engineering, finance, and other site leaders.

Collaborate with stakeholders to align procurement and inventory strategies with business needs.
-
Lead, coach, and develop procurement, warehouse, and materials management team members.
-
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Safety & Compliance
-
Ensure compliance with company policies, delegation of authority requirements, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
-
Promote safe work practices throughout procurement and warehouse operations.
-
Support audit readiness, inventory controls, and operational compliance initiatives.
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
-
5-10 years of progressive procurement, supply chain, materials management, or warehouse experience.
-
3+ years of leadership experience managing procurement, warehousing, or materials management teams.
-
Experience in strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and contract negotiations.
-
Strong knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma.
-
Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience managing MRO inventory and warehouse operations.
-
Experience in mining, manufacturing, or other heavy industrial environments.
-
CPSM, CPM, CSCP, or similar professional certification.
-
Experience utilizing SAP.
Physical Requirements
This position includes both office and warehouse environments. Employees may be required to walk warehouse facilities, lift and move materials, and wear required personal protective equipment. Additional physical requirements include:

Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl occasionally.

Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds routinely and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
