About the role We are looking for a world-class, scrappy, and versatile Business Operations Generalist to take Govra's highest-priority problems from ambiguity to a working solution. You will move across all aspects of the business, building the internal machinery the company runs on and doing whatever the business needs to move forward. This is not a slide-making role. You will be measured by what gets executed, built, and automated. The strongest candidates pair an intense bias for action with genuine humility: they dive into the details, stay open to being wrong, and get an exceptional amount done.

What you'll do

• Operate as a company-wide generalist: Take on the highest-priority problems across Govra, moving fluidly between functions as the needs of the business change.
• Build the operating system: Create the systems, operating rhythms, and information flows that give Govra clarity, accountability, and execution speed.
• Own core business operations: Keep the foundational work across finance, people, vendors, compliance, and company administration accurate, reliable, and moving on time.
• Drive high-priority initiatives: Own important work from problem definition through decision, implementation, and measurable outcome.
• Turn analysis into action: Use company data, financial analysis, market research, and customer insight to make sound recommendations and then execute against them.
• Eliminate operational drag: Find bottlenecks, dropped handoffs, and recurring manual work, then replace them with simple, durable processes and tools.
• Make Govra AI-native: Work AI-native yourself and create the reusable skills, agents, automations, and internal tools that help every function redesign how it operates.

Experience & Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in business operations, consulting, or another operating role at a fast-growing company
• A track record of owning consequential work from start to finish
• Exceptional at turning ambiguous problems into clear priorities and measurable results
• A strong bias for action, getting a tremendous amount done with limited direction
• Genuinely humble and willing to do the detailed, unglamorous work the company needs
• Strong analytical and business judgment, comfortable with financial models and operating metrics
• Operates at every altitude, from shaping priorities to personally running the work
• A builder’s mindset: turn inefficiencies into systems, workflows, or automations
• Fluent with AI tools and agents, with the ability to help teams redesign their work around reusable skills, agents, automations, and internal tools
• Highly organized and relentless about follow-through
• Clear and concise in writing and conversation
• Curious and excited about building Govra and making government work better
