Full job description
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Serves as a Senior Analyst supporting the U.S. Army Combined Arms Command (CAC) G-8 Resource Management, providing senior leadership with data-driven analysis of organizational and mission requirements, financial resources, priorities, and alternative courses of action. Serves as the analytical bridge between Requirements Management and Financial Management, translating validated requirements into quantifiable resource needs. Analyzes complex operational, resource, and financial data to identify trends, risks, and develops actionable recommendations within the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) framework.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Active Secret security clearance.
-
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, data science, or a related field.
-
Prior military service (Army preferred) or relevant professional experience in finance, resource management, training operations and plans, or a related discipline.
-
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis.
-
Experience with the process of capturing, analyzing, and translating validated organizational requirements into quantifiable resource requirements.
-
Experience with financial models, trend analyses, what-if scenarios, cost estimates, and funding needs.
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to prepare resource and financial analyses, recommendations, and briefing materials for senior leadership.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in one or more of the following areas:
-
Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting, i.e., Knowledge of PPBE process.
-
Experience working with large and complex datasets.
-
Familiarity with data visualization, automation, and business intelligence best practices.
-
Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools / applications to conduct data analysis.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
-
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
-
Preferred experience - on a military staff or with training operations, or with resource management.
-
Aptitude to grasp and digest complex models related to these disciplines.
Secret Clearance is required.

Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Preferred strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to evaluate complex operational and financial data, identify trends and risks, and develop actionable recommendations.

Proven ability to be a collaborative team player with a strong commitment to organizational success.

Capable of learning and utilizing a suite of training and financial models and applications and other official programs of record to collect, validate, and analyze relevant data.

The safe use of TAPE equipment, as well as safe practices while on TAPE property, is essential.
