About the Role

As an Engineering Intern at Solstice, a global specialty materials company, you will gain hands-on experience working on impactful projects that support process innovation, operational excellence, and sustainable growth. Based at our Baton Rouge and Geismar, LA sites, you'll collaborate with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams to help solve real-world challenges, improve manufacturing processes, and contribute to the development of advanced materials and chemical solutions that serve customers around the world.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, development, and implementation of processes and solutions

  • Support cross-functional teams in product development and improvement initiatives

  • Conduct research and analysis to stay updated with industry trends and advancements in engineering

  • Participate in project planning and execution to ensure successful outcomes

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for engineering projects

  • Collaborate with team members to drive innovation and continuous improvement

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

WE VALUE

  • Pursuing an advanced degree in Engineering

  • Experience with engineering principles and practices

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale

  • Students entering their sophomore or junior year of an Engineering bachelor's degree program
