Full job description

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Network Administrator to join our team in Doral, FL .

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Configuring, deploying, and maintaining Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for enterprise network access control, 802.1X authentication, and posture assessment.

  • Managing and administering enterprise routers, switches, firewalls, and network infrastructure components across mission networks.

  • Developing, implementing, and enforcing network security policies, profiling rules, and guest access workflows within Cisco ISE.

  • Troubleshooting complex network connectivity issues, authentication failures, and access control policy enforcement points.

  • Conducting routine system maintenance, vulnerability patching, firmware updates, and baseline configuration management for network devices.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams, cybersecurity staff, and site leadership to maintain optimal network uptime and security compliance.

  • Maintaining accurate technical documentation, network diagrams, baseline configurations, and operational inventories.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of experience in network administration.

  • OR a master’s degree and 3+ or more years of relevant experience

  • OR an associate’s degree and 7+ or more years of relevant experience

  • OR a high school diploma and 9+ or more years of relevant experience

  • Proven experience configuring, administering, and troubleshooting Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) in an enterprise environment. Strong background in enterprise routing, switching, 802.1X authentication, RADIUS/TACACS+ protocols, and network access control (NAC).

  • Hands-on experience with network device configuration, patch management, and baseline configuration controls. Experience creating, maintaining, and communicating complex information technology documentation and network diagrams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant professional certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP Security/Enterprise), or Cisco ISE Specialist certification.

  • Prior experience supporting U.S. Military Command operations or Department of Defense enterprise network environments.

  • Familiarity with DoD STIG compliance, network vulnerability scanning, and secure baseline auditing procedures.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across multi-disciplinary engineering teams in dynamic operational settings.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must hold a current/active top secret security clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
