THE WORK
Lockheed Martin is seeking an experienced contracts professional to lead proposal development, negotiations, contract execution, and closeout of classified programs within the Multi-Domain Combat Systems (MDCS) market segment under the MIC2 line of business. This mid‑level position will be responsible for contractual oversight of classified programs located in Moorestown, NJ.
Perform contracts management functions across the spectrum of actions associated with providing supplies and services, from capture through proposal, contract award, and all phases of contract administration. Provide business advice and guidance to and coordinate with other functions including program management, finance, legal, subcontracts, business development, engineering, human resources, accounting, and compliance to effectively manage a breadth of responsibilities, including contract solicitations / capture, negotiations, and contract terms, including fulfillment of related obligations. Serve as authorized, empowered representative for the Company as interface with Customer buying representatives responsible for building effective relationships and managing contracts to support business goals and objectives. Coordinate solutions to contractual issues and Customer concerns related to Company performance. Ensure contractual compliance with all laws and regulations, and adherence to Delegation of Authority and approval requirements for proposals and contractual actions. Lead and support audits, as appropriate, with internal and external audit teams and agencies to support contract-related activities and verify compliance. Ensure final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations. May plan and participate in training of contract practices within Company. Collect contractual data and compiles reports in response to Corporate and Business Area requests.

Basic Qualifications

Experience operating in classified environments and managing classified programs
-
Demonstrated success negotiating complex, high‑value contracts and amendments with government and industry partners
-
Skilled at building and maintaining trusted relationships with contracting officers and other external stakeholders

Strong working knowledge of contract closeout processes and procedures
-
Proficiency with Microsoft Office & Teams Applications

FAR/DFARS exerperience
-
Active Secret Clearance and ability to be on site
Desired Skills

Advanced degree and professional contracts certifications (e.g. CPCM™, CFCM™, CCCM™)

Experience with executive communications to efficiently brief senior leadership

Strong business acumen with the ability to clearly recognize risk elements in business transactions and providing governance to the program team in carrying out the terms of the contract

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting

Ability to posess a Top Secret clearance
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $81500.00 - $151300.00

Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.

For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
