About the Role:
As a CBRE Facilities Sr. Manager, you willmanage many functions of building operations and maintenance for a largepharmaceutical manufacturing facility.
This job is a part of the Facilities Managementfunctional area which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set ofassets, providing support to the Clients regarding all repairs and investmentplans.
Scope of Services managed by the Sr. FM includemaintaining systems such as Utilities, Material Handling, interior and exteriorFit/Finish and all other site systems (Mechanical, Electrical, andPlumbing). In addition, the Sr FM willlead teams focused on CBRE Soft Services scope (Janitorial, Food,Landscaping/Snow removal, Pest Control, etc).
All services delivered must maintain strictadherence to GxP guidelines required by the client and regulatory governingagencies.
What You’ll Do:
Oversee key performance indicators andfinancial performance of a region of GxP manufacturing sites. Implementmeasures to keep performance meeting client expectations.
Develop and approve annual operating budgets.
Provide formal supervision to employees.Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluationsand mentor. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.

Coordinate and manage the team's dailyactivities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Setand track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
Coordinate and manage facility repairs andmaintenance by working with technicians, vendors, and contractors.
Maintain positive client relationships andconduct meetings on unresolved facility issues.
Support large and high-profile capitalprojects, operating budgets, and variance reports either directly or via CBREProject Managers.
Perform facility inspections and qualityassurance following local, state, and federal regulations. This site is FDA regulated.
Suggest and implement operational efficiencies,repairs, and upgrade opportunities.
Create environmental health and safetyprocedures for facilities.
Develop vendor relationships andcontracts. Oversee execution of thirdparty services executed by these vendors. Review and approve purchase orders for the procurement of parts,services, and labor for FM services and projects.
Apply a broad knowledge of the business, owndiscipline, and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team anddepartmental objectives.
Lead by example and model behaviors that areconsistent with CBRE RISE (Respect, Integrity, Service and Excellence) values.Coach managers and other colleagues to take action while being guided by theorganization's functional business plans. Negotiate with external partners,vendors, and customers of divergent interests to reach a common goal.
Identify and solve multi-dimensional, complex,operational and organizational problems using the appropriate resources withinor outside the department. Apply root cause analysis to critical issues in theManufacturing environment.
Represent scope of services and performance(financial and KPI’s) to senior level clients.
Understand and recognize the broader impactacross the department.
Improve and change existing methods, processes,and standards within job discipline.
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineeringpreferred with 5 - 8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, acombination of experience and education will be considered. Valid driver'slicense required. Facility Management certification preferred.
Life Sciences Leadership experience in aManufacturing environment is preferred.
Experience in the areas of staffing, selection,training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, andrewarding performance and retention is preferred.
Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive,complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations andhandle problems.
Leadership skills to motivate the team toachieve broad operational targets with impacts on own job discipline, multiplejob disciplines, and department.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Officeproducts. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Extensive organizational skills and an advancedinquisitive mindset.
Ability to calculate complicated figures suchas percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
