Full job description

Position Overview:

As a Senior Compliance Specialist, you will lead Pike Engineering's licensing compliance programs. Your responsibilities will include ensuring regulatory adherence, maintaining licensing credentials and records, managing audits and investigations, and driving policies, processes, and training that protect the organization from compliance and regulatory risk. You will perform work with a high degree of latitude, handle the most complex issues and problems, including those escalated from Compliance Specialist staff, and possess an expert level of knowledge on the subject matter. You will provide leadership, coaching and/or mentoring to a subordinate group and may act as a team leader or supervisor.

This position is located on-site in Fort Mill, SC reporting to Pike Engineering leadership.

Essential Functions:

  • Be the organizational lead and subject matter expert for licensing and regulatory compliance programs

  • Manage and administer company licensing processes, ensuring compliance with applicable licensing requirements, laws, regulations, and standards

  • Be the primary liaison between the organization and licensing boards, regulatory agencies, and governing bodies

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve strategies, policies, and procedures that support licensing and compliance objectives

  • Maintain accurate and legally compliant licensing and regulatory records, including supporting documentation, applications, forms, policies, and handbooks

  • Monitor and document compliance activities, ensuring systems, records, and processes remain current, complete, and audit-ready

  • Provide compliance training and guidance to employees and leaders on regulatory and licensing requirements

  • Conduct initial reviews of potential compliance violations and escalate significant risks or findings to executive leadership as appropriate

Minimum Requirements:

  • Regular attendance is required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or approved equivalent

  • 6+ years of experience in business and operational analysis, reporting, or data centric applications

  • Experience applying laws, regulations, standards, and licensing requirements

  • Experience developing policies, procedures, and compliance programs

  • Experience managing audits, investigations, records, and regulatory reporting

  • Experience coordinating with regulatory agencies, licensing boards, or governing bodies

  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance, licensing requirements, and administrative controls

  • Valid driver's license and vehicle suitable for business use (mileage reimbursement may apply)
