  • Support tax and regulatory documentation, including Employer Identification Number (EIN) procurement, tax registrations, tax forms, Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) and Common Reporting Standard (CRS) requirements, and related certifications and questionnaires.

  • Coordinate domestic and international document execution and legalization processes, including notarization, apostille, authentication, certification, shipment, and return of original documents.

  • Prepare and maintain legal entity structure charts and analyze ownership and control relationships to support beneficial ownership, regulatory reporting, and complex fund and investment structures.

  • Support transactions, fund governance, and investor matters by coordinating execution of legal agreements and responding to documentation, compliance, and certification requests from internal and external stakeholders.

  • Partner with Legal, Compliance, Client Services, Operations, Finance, external counsel, fund administrators, banks, auditors, registered agents, and other service providers, while supporting knowledge transfer through training, process documentation, and mentoring of interns and co-op employees.

Your experience

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully support corporate governance, legal entity formation and maintenance, and related documentation.

  • Experience working as a paralegal or in a comparable function, ideally within an investment manager, law firm, financial services firm, or similar environment.

  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple detailed workstreams and deadlines.

  • Demonstrated discretion and sound judgment when handling confidential business and personnel information.

  • Experience coordinating across internal stakeholders and external service providers, with familiarity with Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), beneficial ownership, or related due diligence processes preferred.
