Job Duties
We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and hands-on Electrical Technician to support electrical troubleshooting, quality control, testing, and repair of infrared sauna products.
This position focuses on practical electrical work, including taking electrical measurements, tracing wiring, identifying faulty components, and replacing components. The technician will be trained on the different sauna models, control panels, power boxes, and wiring configurations used in our products.
The technician will also work closely with Engineering, Quality Control, and Customer Service to diagnose electrical issues and help improve product reliability.
Duties and Responsibilities

Use systematic troubleshooting and fault-isolation techniques to identify electrical problems.

Read and understand basic electrical component specifications, including voltage, amperage, wattage.

Use a digital multimeter to perform AC /DC electrical measurements, including voltage, current, resistance etc.

Document electrical measurements, troubleshooting steps, findings, and repairs.

Read basic wiring diagrams and trace wiring to identify issues such as loose connections, incorrect wiring, damaged wires, and faulty components.

Diagnose and replace electrical components such as heaters, temperature sensors, control panels, power boxes, LED lights, wiring, connectors, and related components.

Learn and understand component variations including control panel, main control box, wiring systems used across different sauna models.

Support Customer Service with electrical troubleshooting and work with customer-provided measurements.

Communicate troubleshooting steps to customers and team members who may not have an electrical background.

Identify recurring electrical problems and communicate findings to Engineering to help improve products.

Assist Engineering and Quality Control with electrical testing, troubleshooting, and wiring as needed.

Provide occasional installation or field-service support when needed.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

Primarily onsite in a production and warehouse environment.

Regular use of hand tools, electrical test equipment, and basic power tools.
-
Occasional customer-site or field support, approximately 5%.
-
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform hands-on work.

Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Minimum Education Required
- High school diploma or GED.
Minimum Experience Required
Baseline Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.

Hands-on electrical troubleshooting experience.

Basic knowledge of AC and DC electrical systems.

Skilled in using digital multimeter and basic electrical tools.

Hands-on wiring skills, including wire stripping, splicing, crimping, terminating, and making basic wiring repairs.

Ability to read basic wiring diagrams and trace wiring.

Understanding basic electrical specifications, including voltage, amperage, wattage.
-
Detail-oriented with good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Good verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical information to customers and nontechnical team members.

Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and file management.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Electrical, electronics, electrician, or related technical training.
-
Experience as an electrical technician, electrician, maintenance technician, appliance technician, or similar roles.

Experience working with 120V/240V single-phase equipment and low-voltage DC circuits.

Experience with electrical equipment repair, appliances, manufacturing, HVAC, or similar products.
-
Experience providing technical troubleshooting support to customers.

Ability to create simple hand sketches of wiring and electrical connections for documentation.
