Hours: Per Diem - 7pm - 7 am ( week days or weekends/ flexible)

Summary:

  • Performs overnight sleep testing procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Score the polysomnogram and generate report summarizing sleep/wake periods, REM episodes, arousal analysis, EEG phenomena, cardiac events, respiratory events, limb movements, and other physiological events according to current guidelines. Properly disinfect and sterilize appropriate equipment, electrodes and transducers. Evaluate infant/pediatric patients and properly perform polysomnography for evaluation of sleep apnea and seizures. Perform overnight Diagnostic PSG (polysomnography) studies, MSLT (multiple Sleep Latency Tests), CPAP and BiPAP Titrations, ASV, MWT, Split night studies, Home Study Test education of patients, and mask fittings.

Credentials:

  • Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (Required)

  • New Jersey License is REQUIRED

Education or Equivalent Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent with some post-secondary or college education in a science or health-related area.

  • Experience preferred in nocturnal sleep studies but not required. Experience in a patient care job (RN, Respiratory Care Practitioner, etc.) a plus.

Salary Range:

$7.25 - $120.00/Hourly
