Registered Nurse (RN) – Modesto,CA

Travel Package:

Travel Rate (based on 36 hours): Hrly $51.56 Stipend (Lodging $770.00 + M&I $476.00 = $1,246.00

Total Comp : $3,411.52

Travel Eligibility: Candidates must live at least 50+ miles from the facility to qualify for Travel Pay.

Shift Details:

  • 12hrs 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM

  • 36 hours, work week

Nursing Specialty: Labor & Delivery (L&D) RN

RN - L&D Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients throughout labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period, including monitoring maternal and fetal conditions.

  • Assist physicians and healthcare providers with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, procedures, and management of obstetric emergencies.

  • Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as ordered, while monitoring patient response and changes in condition.

  • Provide immediate newborn care and monitoring following delivery, as needed.

  • Educate and support patients and families regarding labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, and newborn care.

  • Maintain accurate patient documentation and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, timely, and quality patient care.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must have current licensure with the CA Board of Registered Nursing

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.

  • BLS and Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program

  • Minimum of one (1) year related work experience within the last 3 years

  • Five (5) plus years of recent experience (must have occurred within the last two (2) years) in Labor and Delivery is preferred but not required

  • One (1) year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two (2) years

  • High Risk OB experience preferred

  • Additional certifications may be required

  • Copy of current, completedPrimary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

  • Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
