Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC) is currently seeking an IT Support Analyst I to join our internal Information Technology team that keeps CTC's business operating efficiently. Supporting employees across the organization, you'll contribute to a collaborative, customer-focused environment where technology enables engineers, researchers, and business professionals to accomplish their mission. Key Responsibilities:
End-User Support:
-
Serve as the initial point of contact for users, acknowledging and documenting basic technical issues related to systems, desktops, applications, and networks.

Record and track end-user calls for assistance to facilitate understanding and resolution of customer problems.
Problem Diagnosis and Resolution:
-
Diagnose and resolve basic technical issues using standard software tools and procedures.
-
Escalate unresolved problems to senior technical personnel or immediate manager for further resolution.
Desktop Support and Maintenance:
-
Perform routine desktop support tasks, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of user applications and operating systems.

Conduct basic preventative maintenance on equipment and workstations to ensure functionality.
Process Adherence:
-
Follow detailed instructions and established company policies to complete routine assignments.
-
Accurately document work performed and maintain compliance with organizational guidelines.
Manager Defined Field:
-
Answer inquiries regarding network capabilities and resolve questions referred by more junior Help Desk Technicians.
-
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and workstations to help extend their useful life.
-
Communicate with vendors as needed to support issue resolution, equipment maintenance, and technical inquiries.
-
Provide advice, training, guidance, and documentation to other Help Desk Technicians, as required.
Required Qualifications:
-
High School Diploma or GED plus 0–2 years of relevant experience.
-
Basic knowledge of customer service in a computing environment.
-
Familiarity with Microsoft Operating Systems and application environments.
-
Demonstrate knowledge with operating a tele-management workstation and an ability to use a variety of automated diagnostic tools for network troubleshooting.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Associates degree within information technology or related field.
-
A+ certification, Helpdesk certification, or equivalent.

Exposure to IT support or help desk environments through internships or entry-level roles.
